Hitachi SIMPLE DRIVE III 2 TB it’s an external hard drive, small foot print, fanless(means silent).
$179 for a 2 TB drive is a very good price. I bought it at an actual Office Max store.
Comes formatted as Fat 32-wiped it and reformatted as HFS+ journaled(GUID) in all of 1 minute using disk utility in Mac OS X.
Hitachi SIMPLE DRIVE III 2 TB includes software for backup-I wiped it without installing since it is usually garbage(any free software with drive, not just whatever Hitachi uses).
